Wat hield ons bezig in 1982;

Binnenland: Een Nederlandse tv-ploeg van de IKON met Koos Koster, Jan Kuiper, Joop Willemse en Hans Terlaag lopen in El Salvador in een hinderlaag en worden vermoord. In de aanloop van de verkiezingen die op 28 maart zouden plaatsvinden zochten ze voor een interview contact met rebellen van de FMLN. Dat werd ze fataal.

Buitenland: In Suriname plegen de sergeants Rambokus en Hawker een staatsgreep tegen Desi Bouterse. Ze worden op de vlucht doodgeschoten.

Sport:  Italië wint de wereldtitel door West-Duitsland in de finale van het WK voetbal met 3-1 te verslaan.
