Deze soulshow is uitgezonden op donderdag 10 april 1986 bij de Tros op Radio 3, met daarin o.a.:

• Het is weer tijd voor de meest swingende koopavond van de week. Overal waar je komt staat ie aan, de Soulshow.
• Twee nieuwe binnenkomers in de Disco Action Top 20. De eerste vinden we op nummer 20; Atlantic Star – Secret Lovers.
• Als voorbereiding op het James Brown concert van 20 april 1986 beginnen we het 2e uur met Fat Boys en hun remake van Sexmachine.
• In de Bond Van Doorstarters kun je luisteren naar het laatste deel van de mix van Raymond Adriaans uit Helmond. Het eerste deel werd uitgezonden op 27 maart 1986. Die mix duurde bijna één uur, vandaar de splitsing.
• In het tweede uur twee nieuwe binnenkomers in de Amerikaanse Billboard Hot Black Single Chart.

Binnenland:  Bij Assen vindt de eerste aardbeving plaats in de noordelijke provincies

Buitenland: Cliff Burton, bassist van de Amerikaanse metalband Metallica sterft na een ongeluk tijdens hun tournee in Europa, hun toerbus raakt van de weg, hij wordt uit het raam geslingerd en krijgt de bus over zich heen.

Sport:  Bij het WK hockey in Londen komt de Nederlandse hockeyploeg niet verder dan de zevende plaats. In de afsluitende wedstrijd, de laatste interland van strafcornerkanon Ties Kruize, wordt Polen met 7-2 verslagen.
