Deze Soulshow is uitgezonden op donderdag  18 juni 1987 bij de Tros op Radio 3,  met daarin o.a.:

• Een interview met Eric Leeds. Jazz en Funk saxofonist van Madhouse, begeleidingsband bij onder andere de tour van Prince.
•  De winnaars van de WAPS hip-hop wedstrijden zijn in de studio.
• 3 singles zijn verdwenen uit Import Top 10, de eerste nieuwe  vinden we op nummer 7. Strafe – Outlaw, een nummer dat geproduceerd is door Arthur Baker.
• Ferry vindt dat Jonathan Butler artiest van de maand moet worden op Radio 3. Helemaal mee eens, maar ja………….

Wat hield ons bezig in 1987;

Binnenland: In Amsterdam wordt het homomonument onthuld ter nagedachtenis van vervolgde homo’s in de nazitijd.

Buitenland:  De 19-jarige West-Duitser Mathias Rust landt met een sportvliegtuigje op het Rode Plein in Moskou. Het lek in de verdediging van het luchtruim van de Sovjet-Unie dat hierdoor aan het licht komt, leidt tot het ontslag van een aantal hooggeplaatste Russische militairen. Rust wordt tot vier jaar werkkamp veroordeeld.

Sport: In Athene wint Ajax de Europa Cup voor Bekerwinnaars door in de finale Lokomotiv Leipzig met 1-0 te verslaan. Marco van Basten maakte na 21 minuten het doelpunt.
