Deze Soulshow is uitgezonden op woensdag 25 april 1990 bij Radio 10,  met daarin o.a.:

• Het is de allerlaatste Soulshow op Radio 10!
• Er is een héél lange mix onderweg naar de Soulshow Studio. Een mix van maar liefst 16 minuten, in de Bond Van Doorstarters.

Binnenland: In Amsterdam opent koningin Beatrix het herdenkingsjaar ter ere van Vincent van Gogh, naar aanleiding van de honderdste verjaardag van zijn overlijden.

Buitenland:  Super Mario Bros. 3 wordt uitgebracht voor Nintendo. Met zes miljoen stuks is Super Mario Bros het bestverkochte videospel ooit.

Sport: Naar aanleiding van Ben Johnsons verklaring doping te hebben gebruikt, ontneemt de Internationale Atletiekbond IAAF hem zijn wereldrecord op de 100 meter (9.83) en zijn twee indoorrecords op de 50 m (5.55) en op de 60 m (6.41).
